A warm welcome to Ipswich Road United Reformed Church

Part of the Norwich Area United Reformed Church Mission Partnership                                We welcome you to join us as we meet for worship on Sundays at 9.45am:

This service is recorded and uploaded to this website and is also streamed to You Tube

We also hold an evening communion service on the first Sunday of each month at 6.00pm

Go to the  Current NAURC Worship Page  to find the audio recording of the morning service at Ipswich Road and links to the preachers and services at Ipswich Road and at the other churches in the Norwich Area URC Mission Partnership: Fairland Wymondham, St Peter’s Jessopp Road and Wroxham and Hoveton all of whom meet for worship at 10.30am

We are a lively community of around 60 people – children, young people and adults – with diverse interests, but bound together by friendship and a spiritual search.

NEWS

We are part of Norwich Area URC Mission Partnership

Along with St Peter’s Jessopp Road (URC/Methodist) LEP, Wroham and Hoveton URC (The Hub) and Wymondham URC (The Fairland) we have formed the first Mission Partnership in the Eastern Synod

The four churches agreed individually to become part of the partnership on 14th July 2025 and on 21st July, met together for a joint service where we affirmed our membership of the partnership. This service was led by Revd Alex Jacob-the Synod Transitional Minister, who has guided us along the journey to this point. The history of that journey can be found in the recording of the service

Ipswich Road URC, Cause for the Month

Each month, Ipswich Road URC supports a different cause. All are chosen by the church members. Some we support on an annual basis, others are “one off”

January’s “Cause for the month” is The Fishermen’s Mission

“The Fishermen’s Mission is the only national charity that works solely to support fishermen and their families. We support active and former fishermen, sea-going staff working the in the UK aquaculture industry, and migrant fishermen working on UK vessels. Our team provide a 24-hour emergency response to any fishing vessel working in UK waters, assisting with injury, or loss at sea.”
